PepCore is built by one person, so replies aren't instant — but every email is read and answered.

Before you email

Most of what comes in has a faster answer here.

I paid but Premium isn't unlocked

Open the app, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with — this is the usual cause after getting a new phone. If it still doesn't unlock, email us and say which plan you bought and roughly when.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancelling is handled by Apple, not by us: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PepCore → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or renewal date to avoid the next charge. Your logged data stays on your phone either way.

I want a refund

Refunds are issued by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue or reverse a charge ourselves — we never receive your payment details.

I got a new phone / how do I move my data?

Before you switch: open PepCore and tap Export Backup File, then save the file somewhere you'll still have access to. On the new phone, install PepCore and import that file. Your data lives only on your device — there is no cloud copy, so an export beforehand is the only way to move it.

I deleted the app and lost my data

If you have a backup file you exported, import it and you're back. If you don't, the data is unfortunately gone: PepCore never uploads anything, so we have no copy to restore from. This is the trade-off that comes with nothing leaving your phone.

Reminders aren't firing

Check Settings → Notifications → PepCore and make sure notifications are allowed. Also check that Focus, Do Not Disturb or Low Power Mode isn't suppressing them, and that the protocol is active with a schedule set.

Face ID won't unlock the app

Confirm Face ID is enabled for PepCore in iPhone Settings → Face ID & Passcode. If Face ID fails repeatedly, iOS falls back to your device passcode.

The calculator's number looks wrong

The calculator converts units, and it can only work with the numbers you type in. Check that the vial amount and bacteriostatic water are in the units you meant (mg vs mcg is the common slip), and that the syringe you picked matches the one in your hand. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL. If you're confident the arithmetic is genuinely off, email us the four inputs you used and we'll look at it.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet — PepCore is iPhone-only. The reconstitution calculator on the website works in any browser, on any device, free and with no signup.

Can PepCore tell me what to take?

No, and it won't. PepCore is an educational tracking tool and a calculator for adults 18+. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions or recommendations. Dosing decisions are between you and a qualified healthcare professional.

Reporting a bug

Bugs get fixed much faster with a bit of detail. If you can, include:

Please don't send health data, lab results or personal details in a bug report — we don't need them to fix a bug, and we'd rather not receive them.

Feature requests

Genuinely welcome — a good share of what's in the app came in by email. Tell us the problem you're trying to solve rather than the button you want, and it'll usually get built better.

Privacy and legal

See the Privacy Policy for exactly what data the app handles, and the Terms of Service for the terms of use.
